Salary Range: $24.96/he. - $33.38/hr.

Responsibilities:

  • The Health Department is expanding services with a mobile care unit which will provide outpatient services to individuals in underserved areas.
  • This position will oversee the strategic buildout of the new mobile unit including, but not limited to deciding what services should be provided, purchasing of unit, budgeting, coordination with community health partners to identify areas of need, as well as collaboration with a team of participating community organizations supporting various aspects of the mobile clinic services.
  • The coordinator helps assure that the delivery of high quality, cost efficient, culturally sensitive services, comply with all federal, state, and local agency policies and procedures as well as those at the Wyandotte County.

Qualifications:  

  • Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, combined with three plus years of logistics and business planning.
  • Field experience working with underserved population in community-based settings is preferred.
  • Previous Management or lead experience preferred.
  • Detailed oriented with strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to track information, data, and documents.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Must have reliable personal transportation and a valid KS driver’s license.
  • A background check and drug screen will be conducted on potential selected candidates.
  • Must reside in Wyandotte County or relocate within 12 months of hire.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
