Salary Range: $24.96/hr. - $33.38/hr.

Responsibilities:

  • This position is responsible for supervising adult felons placed on Drug Court supervision (probation) within Community Corrections; prepare weekly court reports; court recommendations and attend court weekly to provide testimony on participant progress.
  • Minimum contact standards required to monitor and verify participant compliance with court orders, treatment, UA’s and pro-social behavior within the community.
  • Work closely with participants and providers to address identified areas of risk/need in an effort to reduce recidivism and promote recovery, adhering to the key components and best practices of the drug court model.

Qualifications:  

  • One year of related program experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.  
  • Preferred Experience working with the offender population; knowledge of risk reduction principles and case management; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to develop goals and a relative plan of action for goal accomplishments; ability to exercise good judgement; demonstrated ability to interact and work effectively with others in a team environment; flexibility; ability to manage time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously; ability to input data into the Athena information system quickly and efficiently preferred.
  • Incumbent is accountable for outcome results, must be able to problem solve and make sound decisions, as well as being self-motivated, consistent, and focused.
  • Must maintain appropriate boundaries and provide accurate and ethical testimony in court.
  • Knowledge of problem-solving courts with an understanding of the role substance addiction plays in the cognitive process is preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Corrections, or a related field.

Travel Requirements:  

This position will involve no travel.
