Salary Range: $24.96/hr. - $33.38/hr.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the HETF, Health Department, public health officials, and community organizations to increase access to community resources and services to vulnerable populations. 
  • Conducting outreach to help vulnerable populations reach community services designed to serve the population. 
  • Participating as an active member of health equity related projects, taking minutes, and coordinating tangible action items between meetings. 
  • Attending and participating in support to the HETF, taking minutes, and coordinating tangible action items between meetings. 
  • Managing the HETF neighborhood-based calendar(s), tracking event changes and cancellations, and then relaying this information to pertinent personnel.  
  • Coordinating the procurement of products and services used to increase testing for vulnerable populations. 
  • Acting as the point-person for interfacing with external funders.
  • Coordinating the distribution of printed and digital communications materials relative to health equity projects. 
  • Coordinating the purchase, delivery, storage, and distribution of any incentives used to increase community engagement.  
  • Ensuring there are staff/volunteers to participate in community related events. 
  • Ensuring accuracy of data collected and reported.
  • Support Client's policy, standards, and values ensuring solid ethical standards are practiced.
  • Work collaboratively with Client's staff, contractors, and volunteers, and external partners.
  • Maintain professional and cordial interactions with community partners, staff and others at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:  

  • 2 years of related program experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid Kansas driver’s license.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in social work, public health or related field.
