Responsibilities:

  • Cuts and maintains lawns and grass.  
  • Rakes leaves and cares for plants, flowers, trees, and shrubs.  
  • Determines the appropriate plants or shrubs for walkways or garden areas.  
  • Provides grounds maintenance in all seasons.  
  • Responsible for snow and dirt removal.  
  • Keeps the grounds and environment of a facility in a clean, attractive, orderly, safe, and healthy condition.  
  • Operates light trucks and assorted power equipment.  
  • Performs routine cleaning and maintenance on gardening and grounds equipment.   
  • Reports to a supervisor or manager.  
  • Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. 

Qualifications:  

  • 0-1 year of general work experience. 
  • Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. 
  • May require horticultural training. 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 

Education: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 

Travel Requirements:  

This position will involve no travel.
