Salary Range: $27.65/hr - $48.83/hr.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and administer web mapping applications using VertiGIS and/or ESRI’s ArcGIS Enterprise to meet customer specific requirements.
  • Design and implement solutions using Esri’s ArcGIS suite: ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online.
  • Administer GIS server environments.
  • Plans, monitors, and administers system usage and coordinates database interaction with other systems and applications. Architects GIS data management solutions for the organizations core businesses primarily using Esri technologies.
  • Publish/Consume map services (REST, WMS, GeoRSS, KML/KMZ, etc).
  • Configures and maintains ArcSDE server for development and production environments.
  • Develop, maintain, administer, and monitor data pipelines to extract, transform and load data from UG systems of record using Python, SSIS, FME, FME Server. Creation and management of spatial data schemas and metadata catalogs within geodatabases including Esri's ArcSDE, Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Create, configure, and maintain ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS, maps, services and applications for enterprise use.
  • Provide technical direction in developing and sustaining a GIS program to the Client.

Qualifications:  

  • Three years of related GIS experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
  • Deep understanding of GIS technologies and best practices.
  • Strong aptitude for learning new skills, adapting to new technologies, and implementing new methodologies.
  • Ability to gather, analyze and interpret facts and arrive at sound and logical conclusions and recommendations.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan and organize activities and develop realistic action plans and schedules.
  • Knowledge of specialized GIS software including Esri products ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, and the administration of ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, and ArcPro software.
  • Advanced knowledge of geospatial and mapping concepts such as spatial analysis, map projections, location-based services, cartography or similar.
  • Knowledge of databases such as SQLServer.
  • Experience with cadastral and land records applications a plus.
  • Familiarity with managing relational multiuser spatial databases, consuming, and publishing GIS web services, and common web mapping APIs and platforms.
  • Strong data and information management skills.
  • Some familiarity with Microsoft development tools: Visual Studio, web technologies - ASP/ASP.NET, HTML, Javascript, VB and/or C# Esri or GISP Certification is a plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Information Technology, Computer Science

Travel Requirements:  

This position will involve no travel.
