Salary Range: $15.63/hr. - $19.05/hr.

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities will include:
  • Receptionist duties for main office, which includes answering telephones and greeting walk-in guests.
  • Assist with administrative office duties, such as typing, filing, copying, and faxing.
  • Reserve facility, order supplies, send notices, and keep minutes of monthly advisory meetings.
  • Assist with data input and tracking of services.
  • Research/survey data collection and entry.
  • Participate in public awareness program and activities.
  • Attend and participate in community events.
  • Process Crime Compensation forms.
  • Log any contact with victims.
  • Maintain organization of VSU shared spaces to create safe and welcoming environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:  

  • One year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
  • Experience with data entry; ability to multi-task and manage deadlines; flexible schedule; excellent oral and written communication skills; and proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred.
  • All candidates must pass a background check and post-offer truth verification test.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 

Education: 

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.)

Travel Requirements:  

This position will involve no travel.
